There are three type of reminders you can set up for an event:

  • Email
  • SMS (Text Message)
  • Pop-up

Invited guests or those who have access to the events will receive reminders according to their own Google Calendar reminder settings.

Depending on his or her choice, guests will receive the appropriate email, SMS (text message), or pop-up reminder before each event.

You can set reminders for any number of minutes, hours, days, or even weeks before an event.

If you use a Gmail app on your smartphone, pop-up reminders will be sent to your phone.
